How to Set Up Your Instant Messenger

The IM server for MYPTSMail is a Jabber/XMPP server. To setup your MyPTSMail Instant messenger do the following:

First download a jabber compliant client. We recommend PSI or Spark. Install the client.

Use the following settings:

Account Settings
Jabber ID: your email login@im.myptsmail.com (ex. myptsmail@im.myptsmail.com)
Password: Your email password

Connection settings
Host: im.myptsmail.com
Use the defaults for the rest.

Try it. myptsmail@im.myptsmail.com is always on as is support@im.myptsmail.com
