Use Outlook with MyPTSMail!

Do you like using Microsoft Outlook better than the MyPTSMail web interface? If so, now you can check your MyPTSMail account with Outlook with POP3 or IMAP instead! The following steps should guide you through the process easily. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email us: myptsmail@myptsmail.com or (410) 838 – 5100.

Step 1:
Open up your Outlook and go to the “Tools” menu at the top.

Step 2:
On the “Tools” menu, drag down to “E-Mail Accounts”.

Step 3:
Click “Add a new e-mail account”, then click “Next” at the bottom of the window.

Step 4:
Click “POP3″ or “IMAP” , which ever you prefer to use, then click “Next” at the bottom of the window.

Step 5:
Enter your name in the provided field, then your fully qualified MyPTSMail email address in the “E-mail Address field”.

Step 6:
Enter “mailbox3.myptsmail.com” into the “Incoming mail server” field AND into the “Outgoing mail server” field.

Step 7:
Enter your MyPTSMail user ID into the “User Name” field.

Step 8:
Enter your MyPTSMail password into the “password” field and then click “remember password”
and click the “Log on using secure Password Authentication (SPA)” box, Then click “Next” at the bottom of the window.

Step 9:
Finally click “Finish”.
