What exactly does the MyPTSMail Tune Up program do?

The myptsmailtuneup.exe script will (In THIS ORDER of Operation):

Create a system Restore point.

Perform a check to see if you have ClamWin installed on your PC. If so, it will update your virus definitions. If not, MyPTSMail Tune Up performance enhancer will skip straight to system defrag.

If you do have ClamWin installed, MyPTSMail Tune Up will perform a virus/threat scan of all drives attatched to your PC including all USB drives. (Beware: this scan WILL REMOVE any threats detected AND the files the threats are attatched to even if you do not have your ClamWin preferences set to remove.) Even if you have a CD or DVD in your PC that is infected with a virus, the tune up will show that in the scan, but WILL NOT be able to remove it.

Perform a system defrag of all drives currently connected to your PC including attatched USB drives.

Perform a system check disk of all drives currently connected to your PC including attatched USB drives.

Clean out your recycle bin

Perform reboot of your system if you downloaded the reboot version
