PTSMail Utilities

The PTSMail Utilities are a comprehensive set of Email Utilities for Unix sendmail servers. The utilities include what we consider the best anti spam and virus filter there is. Tests in this filter include domain blacklist, ip blacklists and surbl blacklists. The tests also include spf Sender Policy Framework, regular expressions against the whole message, the body only, headers only and more. Using mysql you get a complete history that you can search with sql queries. Other tests include greylisting and regular expression tests against addresses, both IP as well as the from and to addresses. You can integrate third party software into the tests such as Vipul's Razor,Distributed Checksum Clearing House (DCC) and Clam AntiVirus as well as others.

Other utilities includes updating third party software such as clamav, dcc, sendmail, mysql and more. There is an independent smtp engine that can be used to alert you with a sendmail issue. There is a monitoring utility to alert you to issues on your mail server or other servers on your network. This utility can send a text message to your cell phone to alert you in real time.

There is web configurator to help you mange the utilities as sendmail. This has network checks, spf checks, blacklist checks, mx record checks as well as a comprehensive set of reports.

For your users there is the ptsuser web access that will allow them to set email alerts, set up there own exceptions or restrictions or retrieve email that they feel was erroneously blocked. They can even retrieve email they may have lost.

To help sort through the large volume of mail in the sendmail log there is a sendmail log parsing utility. With this you can use sql query statements to look through the log.
